With its gentle, neutral tone, Peach Fuzz evokes a sense of nurturing, empathy, and inspiration, reflecting our desire for community and connection after the global hardships of the past few years. Pantone uses the descriptors “soft futurism” and “sanctuary” to communicate the comforting essence of Peach Fuzz.
The light, delicate shade reflects warm and inviting feelings and adds a texture element that highlights the importance of touch, as its name implies. Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute, said of the selection, “We selected the name very thoughtfully because it’s the tactile aspect of the color that’s so very important as well as the vision of the color.”
