Ateliers AME | AME

If France was
our departure point,
the world is our workshop.

Who we are

Evocative branded objects with emotion and utility baked in.

We are a cross-border design studio striving to redefine the place of branded objects globally. We put our love for craftsmanship, family spirit, and sense of adventure at work to bring to life the antithesis of soulless design. The objects we create are born from a chosen time and place, yet designed to become valuable companions, kept for life.

We help companies of all shapes & sizes

We help companies of all shapes and sizes, from Rothschild to Kering, Ferrari, Air France, and the International Olympic Committee, in Corporate gifting, Gifts With Purchase, Private Label and Packaging.

A global presence.

While our HQ is in Paris, we have hubs in the US, Japan & Singapore, our adventurous take on craftsmanship often leads us further. Moved by our quest for traditional crafts, skilled hands, and unquestionably ethical factories, we work with craftsmen and manufacturers all over the world.

An adventurous take on craftsmanship

If France was our departure point, the world is our workshop.

Because our adventurous spirit prevents us from being confined by conventions, our sole compass is our commitment and love for the craft.

This means we look where others don’t, dig deeper, explore further… to source crafts directly where they are born, where they have been cultivated by a tradition of excellence, whether in France, Japan, Thailand, Italy, China, or Mongolia.

This also means that tomorrow, wherever you may need us, we’ll be there. Ready for a new adventure.

An people-first approach to branded objects

The branded objects we create capture life moments and deliver lifetime value because they are the result of a unique set of skills.

  • Empathy

We are interested in how objects affect people and the connections they can create between companies and individuals.

  • Foresight

We embrace freedom and intuition as a way to break new ground and find better ways to do things.

  • Longevity

We create objects with durability baked in. The wasteful and the disposable do not belong in our craft.

  • Meaningfulness

We make sure that whatever we bring to it matters to people because it is both useful and imbued with emotion.

Sustainability

We create objects with durability baked in:
the wasteful and the disposable do not belong in our craft

  • Upcyclingso that exceptional materials go a long way

We put our imagination at work to make the most of our clients’ precious materials by coming up with new ways to use discarded elements (leather, pieces of fabrics…). Through this upcycling process, we transform waste into beautiful and useful new creations.

  • Recyclingto find beauty in the waste

We believe we have a responsibility to make the best use of all available materials, whether they be from plastic pollution, promotional activities or elsewhere. Where others see problems, we see opportunities: we strive to recycle materials wherever and whenever we can.

  • Preservingso that craftsmanships stay alive

Willing to protect the world from ever more cookiecutter products, we are committed to not only preserving, but nurturing rare craftsmanship. That’s why we seek out the best crafts people, wherever they are. Whether in France, Indonesia, Italy, Japan or Mongolia, every quest starts with one question: where is it done best? Soon followed by: how can we play our part in keeping each craft alive?

This love for craft and obsession for durability might mean partnering with the ones who invent new materials.
So we gladly do.
