In 2014, Maxime Schwab and Dany Dos Santos (mostly known as ‘Alkarus’), founded Drôle de Monsieur in Dijon, France, combining their love of fashion, art and imagination.
Drôle de Monsieur emphasizes that ambition, talent, and success do not belong exclusively to big cities. The gender-inclusive brand combines contemporary visuals with vintage elements to create a truly unique collection of items.
Ateliers AME and Drôle de Monsieur’s collaboration reflects this distinctive style with their collection of designer plates featuring original black and white illustrations by artist Charlotte Colt, screen printed in France.
